What is Stellate Ganglion Block?
PTSD locks the nervous system's "fight or flight" response in a permanent ON state. SGB is a minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided injection of long-acting local anesthetic around the stellate ganglion — a nerve cluster in the neck that controls this response.
By temporarily disengaging this chronic activation, SGB allows the brain to "reset" through its natural neuroplasticity — producing durable, long-lasting relief from anxiety and hyperarousal symptoms.

Conditions We Treat
SGB has demonstrated clinical effectiveness across a range of trauma-related and anxiety-driven conditions.
PTSD
Combat-related, sexual trauma, childhood abuse, first responder, and civilian trauma.
Anxiety
SGB reduces anxiety scores by 50%+ — exceeding twice the clinically important threshold.
TBI
First published study demonstrating bilateral SGB improved traumatic brain injury symptoms by 50%.
Long COVID Syndrome
SGB relieved long COVID symptoms in 86% of patients in a 2023 cohort study, addressing the dysregulated nervous system response underlying post-viral illness.
